12th International Conference on Meson-Nucleon Physics and the Structure of the Nucleon
May 31-June 4, 2010
College of William and Mary
Williamsburg, Virginia
The 12th International Conference on Meson-Nucleon Physics and the
Structure of the Nucleon (MENU2010) will be organized by Jefferson Lab
and The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA,
from May 31st to June 4th, 2010.
The conference continues a series held previously in Karlsruhe (1983), Los Alamos (1987), Gatchina/Leningrad (1989), Bad Honnef (1991), Boulder (1993), Blaubeuren (1995), Vancouver (1997), Zuoz (1999), Washington DC (2001), Beijing (2004) and Juelich (2007).
The scientific program will feature invited as well as contributed talks, with morning plenary sessions and afternoon parallel sessions.
Scientific topics will cover experimental and theoretical developments in the field of meson and nucleon physics, in particular:
* Meson-Nucleon Interactions
* Hadron Spectroscopy
* Nucleon Structure
* Few Body Systems
* Fundamental Symmetries
* Electroweak Probes
* Future Facilities and Directions
Registration is now open. You are invited to submit your abstracts
through the registration page <link here to the registration page. The registration fee is $400, with a discounted rate of $200 for
students.
Note that some funds are available to support physicists attending
the conference from developing countries. Applicants requesting support should contact members of the Local Organizing Committee.
Participants may also be interested in the Jefferson Lab Annual Users' Group meeting which is to be held the following week at Jefferson Lab
in nearby Newport News.
Inquiries about the conference can be sent to members of the Local
Organizing Committee.
Local organizing committee:
David Armstrong (William and Mary) co-chair
Volker Burkert (JLab)
Jian-ping Chen (JLab)
Will Detmold (William and Mary/JLab)
Jo Dudek (Old Dominion/JLab)
Wally Melnitchouk (JLab) co-chair
